Error on Page for Some Server Functions

Suddenly I am getting "error on page" in Project Server (Line 4906;
Char 3; Error Unspecified Error) and a blank window that says "loading
data" when I try to access the following pages:
1. Project Center
2. View Resource Assignments
3. View Groups (in Admin)

All other pages seem to work fine (including Documents and Issues). I
have updated my PC with the latest WIN 2K updates and the latest IE
updates from Microsoft (so that means I should have the latest version
of MDAC). I am using Windows authentication. When I log on to a
different PC (using same Windows logon) and access Server, everything
works just fine. When I have a different user log on to my PC (with
same permissions that I have but using their Windows logon) they get
the same errors that I do. Please help -- I am desparate!

Hi Pat,

I'm in the process of scaling out a client's existing Project Server
environment. The new servers I'm building also have the latest
Win2K/SQL SP3a/Office SP 2/etc. I'm getting similar behavior to
yours, getting several event log errors that I'm trying to track down.
One disturbing one is the Views Notification Service cannot login,
yet it is using the system account.

I've opened a ticket with MS so they can share my pain and maybe
figure it out, but if I don't get resolution soon, I'm re-imaging to a
known environment.

Pat:

Did your problem begin after downloading the latest updates to IE? If so,
some of the security settings may need correcting. Make sure that you have
allowed access to data across domains.
