Error on start up after Word download

Downloaded the elegant brochure template now I get on
startup:
"bameter file is linkjed to missing export
SETUPAPI.DLL:SetupDIEnumdeviceInterface
and 2 copies of Notepad headed Ttembed-Notepad

Also Document file now loads without access to thumbnails
and cannot use HP 9323C printer since it shows Use printer
offline and I cannot uncheck.
Any clues to rectify any or all of above please?
