Error opening a report

I get the following error upon opening a report.

'The Microsoft Jet Database Engine does not recognize " as
a valid field name or expression'

I don't know if it is displaying a double quote or two
single quotes.
Where should I look to see what is causing this?
Would it be an event procedure or something in the report
definition?
