Error opening projects from the server

Levan

Hi

When we are trying to connect to Project 2002 to Project
Server, some of the workstations come up with the error -
"SQL Server does not exist or access denied". Once you
click OK, workstation comes up with the SQL Server login
dialog box.

This only happens on the workstations that are on a
different IP range, compared to the SQL Server machone.
Does it mean that even if workstation can connect to the
Project Server, it also needs a separate connection to
SQL Server to open a project?

Any help will be appreciated
Thank you
Levan

Ok, i will rephrase my question - is MS Project an
intranet solution, or can it also be used over the
internet with the same level of functionality and
integration with MS Project Professional?

Thanks

Levan:

Project Web Access performs reasonably over the Internet protected by an SSL
connection. Project Professional connecting to Project Server over the
Internet is very clunky and a security risk. You are best served to use
Terminal Services, Citrix or comparable to provide this functionality.
