Hello,
I just completed a clean reinstallation of my system (Windows XP Pro US SP2)
on a new hard drive but now I have an issue every time I open FrontPage
2002/XP. I get the following error:
---------------------------
Microsoft FrontPage
---------------------------
Could not find a web server at 'myserver'. Please check to make sure that
the web server name is valid and your proxy settings are set correctly. If
you are sure that everything is correct, the web server may be temporarily
out of service.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
But if I click File > Open Web... > click my server then Open (in
FrontPage), my web opens fine and right away. This also happened before
running IISLockdown. I can also open my website just fine in my browser
using the http://myserver URL.
Do you have an idea why I cannot open my website anymore with the "Open last
Web automatically when FrontPage starts" option? This used to work in my
previous installation but I cannot figure out what's different now. Thank
you.
