Error Opening Word Doc from Explorer

When opening a document from Explorer, or My Documents, I get the following
error:

The command cannot be performed because a dialog box is open. Click OK, and
then close open dialog boxes to continue.

I click OK, and then the document opens. Any idea how I can get rid of this
message? It's really annoying!

Use Start, Run and type in

winword /r

and press Enter.This will reregister Word in Windows and should resolve the
problem.
