Error "Outlook.pst is not a personal folders file"

I just did a format on my computer..

I cant import my backup.pst..

I tryed running the SCANPST, but then I got this message:
"The Inbox repair Tool does not recognize the file"

Can this problem be solved?

Don't import. Can you copy the file to your hard drive (remove the read-only
attribute if you burned it to a CD for backup) and use file | open. Does
that work?

Yes file is on my harddrive, and the read-only attribute is not set.

still the same... :(

Did you test the PST file you copied/backed up before reformatting your
drive?

No I didnt test it... I asumed that it worked. :/

No doubt that the file is corrupt.. but is there anyway to save it??
