I created an add-in and shared it with a colleague who used it successfully
with Microsoft Office 2003 SP3 (11.8307.8172). She recently replaced her
laptop and installed Microsoft Office 2003 SP3 (11.8307.8221). Now when she
tries to load the add-in, she gets this error message: "PowerPoint couldn't
open the Visual Basic for Applications project in presentation <full path and
..PPA file name>".
I found a post that recommends deleting any existing .PCB files, but that
post was specific to PPTools. Does anyone know whether it applies in general
as well? Or is there any way to know whether a change in VBA itself has
caused the add-in not to work any more? (She can record and play back new
macros and her macro security settings are set to low.)
Any other ideas?
