Error: Publisher could not start the email program.

I have set in the control panel Microsoft outlook 2007 as my default email
program. Yet, when I use Publisher I get this error message when I try to
send a brochure as an attachment:
Publisher could not start the email program. Check network connect. Make
sure Microsoft Office is installed correctly, your email program is set-up
correctly and you can connect to your mail server.
(I can say Yes to all)
Does anyone have a suggestion?
thanks.

Sue,

Like Maureen, in the previous post, I only know one version of Publisher
(Pub2000). However logic tells me that, as suspected by Maureen, the
recipient would need to have Publisher in order to open the document.

Besides, the Publisher document would be very large and it's not surprising
that Outlook gives you an error message.

The best way to get around this would be for you to print the brochure
created with Publisher, then scan it (both sides if that is the case) and
produce it as a JPEG picture which you can then send as attachment to an
email.

As an attachment?
Compose your email in Outlook, then click on the paperclip to attach the
Publisher file and browse to where you have it stored and attach it.

If you mean in the body of the email...it only works if its Outlook 2007 AND
Publisher 2007, or Outlook 2003 AND Publisher 2003 - at least that's my
understanding of the html in body problem.
