Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number:
0x800CCC18- This is the error message I am receiving. I
have talked with Comcast and my settings are correct. I
called microsoft and this is what they told me to do. I
can read my mail on Comcast, but much prefer Outlook. I
hope someone can assist. Thank you.

No, they're not, regardless of what the Comcast kook told you. Look at the
error message:

"Unable to logon to the server using Secure Password
Authentication. Account: 'mail.comcast.net',
Server: 'mail.comcast.net', Protocol: POP3, Server
Response: '-ERR authorization not enabled'"

You're not authenticating to your server. Try authenticating without Secure
Password Authentication set. Make sure you authenticate to the outbound
server. That is, in your Account properties on the Outgoing Server page,
check "My outgoing server requires authentication" but uncheck "Log on using
Secure Passworsd Authentication. Make sure the "Use same setting as my
incoming server" is selected if it's not already. Let us know how it goes.
