Error saving Disk is full

I am saving a project to my hard drive and it keeps telling me disk is full
clear up disk space and try again. I cannot save my work and my hard drive
is not even 20% full.

Which version of project? In older versions, clearing your temp directory
would help.
I'd also try a reboot.
