Error starting Access97

P

Philly

I get the following error when trying to start Access97:

"can't find database you specified, or you didnt't specify
a database at all.

Specify a valid name in the command line, and include a
path if necessary, so that can find the application"

It doesnt even make sense.."so that can find" whats that?

Any ideas? As a possiblilty (since this is not my PC)
access 2000 might have been installed and then removed.
If thats the case any suggestions?

You now have a <Runtime Version> of Access.

Are you sure that it is Access 97 that is starting?
(not A2K)? It is possible that the A2K was a
runtime version, or that it uninstalled A97 and
left the A97 runtime version, or.....

Can you re-install A97?
