Following 2 blue-screens in 2 days, I get the following
when starting Excel 2000 (W2K Pro):
Cannot access read-only document 'Work Related'.
followed by
Cannot access 'Work Related'.
File then opens normally.
"Work Related" is not a file...it's a directory/folder.
It is not now, and never has been, read-only, nor is any
of its antecedents.
If I change the name of the directory/folder, the change
is reflected in the next set of error messages.
I have "repaired" Office, reinstalled Office (without
first uninstalling it), "repaired" Excel to no avail. The
folder name doesn't appear to be associated with Excel
anywhere within the registry.
??? Thanks in advance.
