Error: The parameter is incorrect

I have been susccessfully using Groove 2007 for some time now and have
a number of workspaces. However, everytime I run Groove now I get the
message

The Parameter is incorrect
HRESULT: 0x80070057
Process ID:GROOVE.EXE
Thread ID:5352

and am unable to access any of my workspaces.

Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling Office 2007, but this has made
no difference at all.

Any ideas anyone.

When you un-installed and re-installed did you reboot your PC each time?

Yes - I rebooted after uninstalling Groove and Ive rebooted since
installing it.

Andrew -

Based on my experience - to ensure that you have a clean (uninstall),
manually clean up all the Groove folders and run a registry cleaner utility
like 'ccleaner' and 'regseeker'.
There are many residual files that Groove leaves behind that may cause havoc
on your next (re)installation.

Have pulled hair out about this and then realised it has to due with
the user account not being set up properly on the groove software.

Basically, right click the groove icon in the system tray and select
"New Account .." then follow the instructions to either restore an old
groove account, or if you've lost your groove account file create a
new account.
