If you are the only user in this database, close the database, and open the
Windows Explorer to the folder where the database resides.
See if there is a small file (only a few kb in size). If so, delete it.
Access creates this file when the database is first opened for shared use,
and deletes it when all users have logged out. But if the computer or
software crashes, it does not get to clean up, so spurious locking info is
left behind.
