Error "Version error of ucf file"

After upgrading from office 2000 to 2003 word will
generate the error message "Version error of ucf file"
when ever I select page setup. However after saving a
document regardless of it is a new or existing file the
message will no longer appear. I have run the repair
installation feature from the office install disk but it
did not help. Any suggestions?
