I receive the following error message when i attempt to access the public folders:

"Entourage cannot connect to the Exchange Public Folders server. Please verify that the public folder settings are correct."

In the account settings, under Advanced I've entered the following for the server:
xx.xx.xxx.xx.domain_name/public

I started to receive the error messages after I had to delete my exchange account and re-enter it.

Well the obvious answer is that it sounds like you made a typo somewhere in
re-entering it.

Use the same settings what you have in the Exchange Server field in the
public folder settings and remove /exchange (if you have) and use /public
and see if this help.

thanks,
