Error when connection to Administrator account tested

We use Novell and I am adding an Administrator account to the Project
Pro client, using the correct URL and using Project Server account
authentication. When I click on the "Test Connection" button, I
receive the following error:

You are not authorized to view this page
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the
credentials that you supplied.

Please try the following:

* Contact the Web site administrator if you believe you should be
able to view this directory or page.
* Click the Refresh button to try again with different credentials.

HTTP Error 401.1 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid
credentials.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

Any quick fix ideas?

Thanks,

Andy:

If you're unable to pass windows credentials to the server, then you'll need
to open it up for anonymous access. This has absolutely nothing to do with
Project Server. It strictly applies to managing Windows Servers and IIS.

Did you add the project server URL to the list of trusted sites in IE?
