Error when copying tasks in MS-Project 2002 Pro

I am trying to simply 'copy tasks' in the Project file. As soon as I click
on Copy Tasks from the menu, a Microsoft Project error window appears. It
tells me the usual "Microsoft Project has encountered a problem and needs to
close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." and then gives me the option of
restarting Microsoft Project. This happens on the workstations of several
users. What should I do?

Hi David L.,

Is SP-1 applied to Project 2002? (Go to Help> About Microsoft Project to
see the Service Pack Level.)
That would be the first thing I would check. If SP-1 has been installed, I
would try Detect and Repair also from the Help menu.

If it is only happening on a few workstations, there must be something
different between the "functional" and "non-functional" machines.
