I am running Windows XP Home using Word 2003. For the
past month I've had a problem with all Word documents. I
can create and save documents without a problem. I can
not open any documents either by double clicking, or
choosing File/Open with Word open. I get the following
error in either case:
The file xyz.doc (the name of the file) is not available.
I've gotten documents from others. I've moved the
documents to other directories and still get the same
error. I've renamed the documents, and still get the same
error.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled Word several times,
and still get the same error.
Any assistance you can provide would be greatly
appreciated!
