Error When Opening Word 2000

Everytime I try to open Word 2000, it tells me that the
docoment is not registered and when I click OK, it goes
through all these errors messages saying it open certain
templates and then when I press OK on all of these, Word
shuts down. I've tried uninstalling and installing the
software several times and even did a restore on my PC
back to a date when Word was working fine, and it still
does not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have a Blaster Worm. That's the first thing I
checked. The messages I'm receiving are as follows:
First: This document could not be registered. It will not
be possible to create links from other documents to this
document. Then when I press Ok, I then receive: Too many
files are open. Please close window. Then when I click
OK, I receive: Word cannot open this document template.
Then when I click OK, I receive: Runtime Error. I run
Windows XP and I have downloaded all the service packs
for both Windows and Office 2000. So any help anyone can
give me will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
