error when trying to get to project server via project

Hello,

I just installed project server on a test machine. The web interface works,
however I cannot connect via project.

I get the following error. "The following file(s) have been blocked by the
administrator: /isapi/pjdbcomm.dll"

Doing searches online I found some solutions that suggested that the issue
can be Server 2003 not allowing ISAPI extensions. I modified the settings
to allow all ISAPI extensions, and I also changed the security on the DLL to
everyone having full control. No results.

What am I missing?

Andy:

When you configure your Application Server, (IIS) you must enable all ISAPI
filters. Enabling these will resolve the error.

the issue was a permission that wasn't setup within project server.

Goes to show when you are just learning something, even the little things
can get you.
