Error with copy/paste from Excel 2002 in Access 2002 Table Pane

I used to be able to copy an unnamed range from an Excel
worksheet and paste that range as a new table in Access.
Now I get an error message that "the Jet Database Engine
cannot find the object <Sheet1!R1C1:R2000C15>..." when I
try the paste.

Any ideas why I get the error message and how to
eliminate the problem?
