Error with installing office 2000 sr-1a

During the installation of the SR-1a update, I received 36 messages with
"Error 1328. Error applying patch to file C:\Config.Msi\PT##.tmp. It has
probably been updated by other means, and can no longer be modified by this
patch. For more information contact your patch vendor."

I ignored all messages and the installation proceeded until the end. Office
is still working, but I'm not sure the update was installed succesfully.
If not, what can I do to have it installed properly ??

Hi, martin,

Was your system pre-installed by the original equipment manufacturer
("OEM")?

If my memory holds correctly which is not the case lately :) Did you install the SR-1 patch before trying to install the SR-1a
