Hi,

I am having a problem at launch with MS Word and the MS Framework Library. Every time I launch, this message shows up:

An unexpected error occurred while trying to load the Microsoft Framework Library.

My operating system is Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.5 and I have a Managed account. Would this have anything to do with it? If so, tell me what the system administrator has to do so I can tell my dad.

Thanks,

Framework errors are often the result of the software not having been
updated. Current version of Office 2004 is 11.5.2 so if you're installation
hasn't been updated to at least 11.5.0 that could be the reason...
Especially since it's running in Leopard.

Have your Dad run from the admin account & launch any Office app, then use
Help> Check for Updates to get the updates applied. Run Disk Utility -
Repair Disk Permissions afterward & see if that resolves the issue.
