error with office 2002 setup

I need to uninstall Outlook 2002, and reinstall it. When
I select the change option for Office 2002 in Add/remove
programs, or insert the CD and run setup; I get the
following error:

This patch could not be opened. Verifiy that patch
package exists and that you can access it, or contact the
application vendor to verify that this a valid windows
installer patch package.
