OFFICE 2003 PROBLEMS

While i pick change or unistall the OFFICE PRO 2003 from control panel, or i
attempt new installation from CD I get the message. ' this patch package
could not be opened.Verify that the patch package exists and that you can
access it, or contact the application ventor to verify that is a valid
windows installer patch package'
How to fix this problem?

win xp pro full updated
