Error, Word Closes, Document Based on Template

I have a template I am testing out. Yesterday, when I
opened a document based on that template, everything
worked fine. This morning, doing the same thing, I get
the message box that an error has occured and that Word
needs to close. I tried a few more times and go the same
message. I restarted my computer and tried again and got
the same thing. Absolutely nothing about the template has
changed from yesterday to today.

What could be the problem? How do I fix it?

Is it just that single template that is problematic? If so, it may be
corrupt or you may have abandoned temp files in your temp folder causing
problems. Check in Document and Settings>username>Local Settings>Temp and
make sure that it is empty when all applications are closed.

If that fails, try using the Open and Repair option on the template and see
if that fixes it.
