Error

P

Phill@bh-uk

I am trying to install service pack 3 for Office XP Professional. Every time
I run the installer I get the same error message. The message says:
Error 1328. Error applying patch to file C:\Config.Msi\PT20A.tmp. It has
probably been updated by other means, and can no longer be modified by this
patch. For more information contact your patch vendor.
I have looked in the knowledgebase for error 1328, however there are no
relevant answers. I only installed windows yesterday, and office as well.
Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

Does that dialogue offer you the choice to cancel, continue or ignore? What
happens if you select the option to ignore?
