I get the above in a field that calculates the result of
two fields on my form and the (only) field of two
subforms on my form.

Field1 - Field2 - sfrm1Field - sfrm2Field.

My control source is "= Nz([Field1])- Nz([Field2])- Nz
([sfrm1Field])- Nz([sfrm2Field])" and this works as long
as the subform fields have data. I have tried Nz at the
suborm source and that won't help.

So, I ask, what is my solution.
