Hi,
there are some error messages that the msi installer
throws or catches(whatever it does) after i removed a
german office-xp version and installed a english version.
both were professional versions. The error message every
office application shows me(the msi installer included
while trying to install a new feature)
is "ERROR_UNKNOWN_PRODUCT 1605". I completlly removed
all german files and also all english files after the
first installation. i also removed all msi key entries in
the msi-db and all necessary registry keys. but when i
install it again, the same error occurs.
does someone know a solution 4 this
oh yes, before i forget it i cant run the spelling check
feature also. Maybe the problem has something to do with
this?
