Background: Access 2000 and 97 database with programs on
local PCs linking to Access 97 database with data (2600
records) on network (Novell server). Worked fine until
recently. A recalculation is done just before data is
displayed in a form. Error numbers returned include 3218,
2450, 91, 2467. If I break the data in half and run it f,
it works fine with either portion. If I reduce the number
of records (eliminating a chunk at the beginning or at the
end)it works fine. There does not seem to be a set number
of records where it starts failing. If I move the data to
the local PC, it runs fine with all the data. We have
increased the max number of records locks on the server
from 2500 to 10,000. I have a copy of the data in my
personal network area, so nobody else has it open when I
am running it. We restored a copy of the data database
prior to when the problem began and no records have been
added. I worked fine for a few days but began to fail
again - 90 records were modified when the problem surfaced
again (2532 records.)
Any clues?
