What version of Outlook? Are you referring to Outlook as the client in the
sentence above? Outlook IS a client and doesn't "talk" to other mail
clients. If Outlook doesn't send the ESMTP commands, there's nothing you
can do to make it do so. If you you mean can another client send ESMTP
commands to Outlook, the question is irrelevent because mail clients don't
talk to each other.

Ms Outlook version 2002 / 2003 / 2007
I'm refering MS outlook as client.
I'd like wanting this: client communicates to mail server (sendmail)
and announce, using esmtp size command, message size before sending
data.
Sendmail can or cannot accept this message according to its size, if
size is large sendmail breaks connections so client cannot run data
command and my
bandwidht is saved !
I speak abot communication between MS outlook client to a mail server

Outlook certainly sends the EHLO command as part of the SMTP handshake.
This should induce the server to reply with, among other things, the 250
SIZE xxxxx reply, which will inform Outlook of the largest size the server
will accept. That's what happens on an SMTP server I control. However, I
don't see Outlook adding the SIZE parameter to the MAIL FROM command.
