etting an audio file and pictures to work on a pc?

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger)
Processor: Intel

the powerpoint pressesntation that i made has pics from the internet and an audio file of my computer and when i burn it on to a dvd to use on a pc some of the pictures wont show up and the audio file wont play...i have saved the file in 97-04 to work and it still wont transfer everything to a pc...

Hi,

Use File > Save As and choose the format PowerPoint Package. The
resulting folder will have a copy of the presentation with copies of
your media. The links will be correct if you don't change anything.

Put the folder onto the DVD then burn it.

If only.

I have tried several times to burn a CD with text, music and graphics. The package option has regularly left out the music links.

My workaround was finally to put all the ppt, music and graphics files in the same folder and just burn the folder itself.

Another PPT 08 flaw that has cost me an enormous amount of time.

The 2003 Windows version worked just fine from the get-go, though.

This problem was fixed in an update.

Use Help > Check For Updates and install the updates.
