Even/odd/diff first page

Well, I sort of solved this, but there's still a problem.

I put this field thingy in the footer:

{IF {= ({PAGE}/2} = {= INT({PAGE})/2} "Even" "Odd}

Still, what I want to do with this is -- if the text
is "Even" then I want to left justify it. If it is "Odd",
I want to right justify it. Is there a way to do this
using field switches or something similar?

I think the way you've done it is the only way if you don't know whether the
first page will be even or odd. I work around this by using Odd Page breaks.
