Event calendar problem when changing time zones

J

Jon Maxim

I have put in a lot of all day events in my calendar including US and
Canadian holidays put in by Outlook. I frequently change time zones. When I
change time zones the event stretches into a previous or following day and is
no longer an all day event. It puts in start times and end times to
correspond to 12 AM in the original time zone. However when I change the time
zone back I find that the event does not return to its original times and
remains stretched. The more often I change time zones the more days it tends
to stretch over. How to I prevent this from happening?

use dual time zones and leave the computer on your default time zone.
However, the events should change with each change of the time zone - oh,
did you change the DST setting?
