Event function calls

I am wondering if there is an event function call such as command_OnClick()
in MS project for the following situation. In the task information dialog
box under the resources tab, I want a macro code to automatically execute
when ever some selects an item from the list of available resources in the
pull down menu.

Also is there a reference guide that has all of the available function calls
listed in it
