Every Incoming Message Has An Attachment???/

Hi everyone

This little quirk began last night, then quit and now has surfaced again for
me

I use Outlook 2002

When I open my mail, all the incoming mail message show up as having an
attachement, the attachment being a text file copy of the email message i am
recieving

Any idea on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated

Have you restarted Outlook and/or your machine lately?

Yes I have logged out of Outlook and rebooted several times

Out of the last 5 times I have gotten into Outlook, the attachments have
shown up 4 times and 1 time I got all my messages without the attachment

Hmm...have you also run a virus scan on your hard drive lately? I was
reading through past posts in Google Groups and apparently there was a virus
a while back that would cause a problem like this. Also, if you have SP1
for Office XP installed, you have the option to read all incoming mail as
Plain Text -- is it possible that you have this option enabled and someone
is sending you HTML mail?
