I've been looking but haven't found any example on the web to dl. Can
anyone recommend an example file to dl? Or a forum or ng where I can
ask this to find an example doct with a floating commandbar?

TIA. :eek:D

If you're using Word 2003 or earlier then Word has a number of toolbars that by default 'float'.

You can use View=>Toolbars=>Picture for example to see one.

You can also grab the built in toolbars at the top of the Word screen by the vertical bar on the left side and drag them over the
document area.

You can also make your own custom toolbar in Word 2003 or earlier fairly quickly :) Start a new blank document then go to
Tools=>Customize=>Toolbars=>New
and select there that you want to save it to the current document rather than to the Normal.dot template.

This last seems exactly what I need. Super. Much easier than in Excel,
looks like. The floating toolbars are all built with code with XL2K.

Thanks. I'll give it a try with the doct. I need a floating toolbar with.

Cheers. :eek:D
