Excel 2000 Crashed on PDF Conversion

There's a problem preventing excel from using ole
automation. If you launch excel, you get the error
message 'Cannot use object linking and embedding'. Then if
you select Tools-Macros-Visual Basic Edittor from the
menu, Excel will abruptly crash.
