Excel 2000 post-Service Pack 3 hotfix

How do I get hold of this hotfix?

KB Article: 867816
URL: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/867816

I have the exact problem as defined in the article - ie. machine locked,
scheduled job that launches an excel spreadsheet with a macro runs and 'craps
out' (technical term) with "Not enough system resources to display
completely".

If the workstation is not locked this same 'job' works fine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the hotfix is available why should I pay for it?

Hi Kal,

As mentioned in the article you cited:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/867816
the hotfix is available by phoning MS support.
There isn't a fee when you're obtaining just the hotfix.
