Excel 2000 vs 2003 date issue

Hello,

I've created a function that formats my date filed to mmddyy so that all I
see is a six digit number for example from 04/21/08 to 042108. I do this
because I'm creating an upload file that requires a prn extension with the
date field formated as 6 digits and number only. This works fine for me when
using Excel 2003 however will not work when using Excel 2000. It looks like
it works as long as you're viewing the data in Excel but once you save as
..prn that field is replace with ######.

Any suggestions?

As always, thanks for any help.

Looks like your column width is too narrow. Make the date column a bit
wider.

As Jim pointed out - the text is too big for the cell.

If you can't change the box then it'll need to be the text instead. You're
probably only looking for a half a point or so. Hope that helps.
