Excel 2002: Need to know the meaning of error meesage

Dear Sir,

I was working on Excel worksheets along with many other applications in the
PC.
When I tried to copy a block of cells the error message:â€The picture is too
large and will be truncatedâ€.

May I know what does it mean and what effect will it have on my work?

How could I overcome this problem?

Are you copying a range using SHIFT + Edit>Copy Picture?

If the range is quite large you will get the error message.

What effect will it have?

The pasted picture will be "truncated" which means portions will be cut off.

Hello Gord,

I copied a block of cells not pictures.

Can this cause by insufficient memory (RAM) of the PC ?

The Pc that I am using has a RAM of 135 MB only.

Excel 2007. I can open up a blank workbook and get this error whenever I try
to copy or cut a column or row. I get it two times and have to clear the
error box each time before I can do anything. Just now when I was testing
(to make sure I got it with nothing in any cell) I got the error 4 times.

It's driving me stark raving mad. I've turned off clip organiziner. I've
tried reducing the resolution and removing the print driver. Suggestions
found in other parts of this forum.

Nothing works. Yelling at also does not work.

When copying/cutting actual data, the error appears to have no ill effects
(everything copys/cuts without error) with the single exception of raising my
stress level.

If anyone finds a cure, I'd so love to hear it.

The previous posts in this thread have aged off for me. You may want to include
the error message that is driving you nuts.

Doh! So sorry!!

"the picture is too large and will be truncated'

Copy columns or rows even totally blank ones in a totally blank sheet - box
pops up with "the picture is too large and will be truncated" twice or four
times with the only other thing in the box being the link to 'was this
helpful' (insult to injury that one).

I am sorry about tacking onto an old thread, I thought that was better than
starting a new one on exactly the same issue. I did see the one referenced
here and the others in this forum and I have tried every suggestion with no
joy.

I cannot replicate the error in 2003 with your description of your problem.

I don't use 2007 but probably no diffrrent than the 2002 version that Mr. Low
was running.

I got no help for this at the present time.

I don't use xl2007 enough to help.

Maybe someone else will chime in.

Have you searched google for that phrase (in the *excel* newsgroups)??
