Hi,
I know that no one may know the solution to this since Proval is not a
very common progam... (if you do -- you're wonderful!!) We are
running W2K SP4 complete with the 2003 Office Suite. Currently we
have Proval 6.41SR2 installed on these computers. The computers are
Dell GX270s.
When Excel 2003 and Proval are running, switching between the two apps
(Alt-Tab or clicking on the window to activate) locks up the computer
for approximately a minute. Proval also seems to lock up occasionally
while retrieving data from the database -- only when Excel 2003 is
running.
Office is fully updated as well as Windows updates. On the same
system, only running Office 2000, there are no problems. It seems
that Office 2003 is the culprit, although I'm not sure why or how to
fix it.
I'm at a loss as to where to start troubleshooting. If anyone has any
ideas where I can start or what I should look for, advice would be
great.
Thanks!!
