excel 2003 launch and exit errors

I installed Microsoft office 2003. When I launch excel
the program goes to install a new portion of excel. It
then gives an error message:



"Microsoft Visual Basic"

"Compile error in hidden module"

"AutoExecNew"



When I close excel I get another error message:



"Microsoft Visual Basic"

"Compile error in hidden module"

"AutoExit"



This is not an urgent issue. I just click "ok" and both
of them go away. Each time a use Excel both errors
reoccur. The problem is a inconvienient but doesn't keep
me from working. I have tried everything I know to do.
Use the repair wizard, reinstall, try to find the hidden
module, try to find the hidden module on the install discs
etc. etc.
