Excel 2003 List Formatting

Good Morning. When I enter a new row of record in a List, the values I enter
take on the alignment of the headers, which are left indent 1. I would like
the values to right indent 2 as I enter the values. How can I do this?

Thanks,
Ron

Instead of entering a blank new row, copy a complete existing row with the
correct alignment. Click on the row number above which you want the new row;
then hold down Ctrl and press the + key on the numeric keyboard. Then enter
the correct data in the pasted row.

Or, to minimize the tedium, I would just enter all of the data and do the
formatting of all rows at the end. Edit/Copy a row with the correct
formatting, select all new rows, and Edit/Paste Special and select the Formats
option.

Thanks Richard and Myrna for your prompt response. Actually, what I'm
getting at is in a regular range of cells, when you insert a row immediately
under the last row of records, that inserted row take on the formatting of
the row above it. In a List, the new records take on the formatting of the
header row.

Whatever the situation/cause, if it doesn't format the way you want it, you'll
have to change it manually. There's no way to change the way Excel works
internally.
