Using the subtotal operation on a spread sheet for more than one column
we
have been having problems with where the subtotals are placed. I
seems that
the last subordinate subtotal of a main subtotal ends up below the mai
subtotal. Then, when you collapse the information to the subordinate
subtotal, the detail data of that last subordinate subtotal does not
collapse. Example: Subtotal a sheet by Country, then Stat
(Washington
being the last state for USA). The first subtotal for Country, works
properly. Attempt the second sort by state. The Washington subtota
ends up
below the USA subtotal. When you collapse the sheet to get stat
totals, the
detail data for Washington does not collapse, each detail line is stil
showing
