In new or old worksheets, Excel will not let me color cells or text.

C CommerceMary Aug 2, 2007 #3 Choose VIEW then toolbars then formatting. The fill icon with the pitcher and color selections will appear on your toolbar. Select the cells you want to fill then choose the color to fill.
