I am having a problem with text in a tracking document that I have made for
items ordered and where they are in the process. It is detailed information
that consists of many entries into the same cell on a chronological basis.
In a given cell part of the text is not being displayed. I have worked with
the Format of the cell and tried to set the column width and set the cell to
wrap, tried to auto size height and width and no matter what combination I am
using, some of the text that is typed into the cell is not being displayed.
I have customers that are receiving this information and they are not able
to review all of the detail unless they actually click on the cell. It does
not show up on printed copies or on the screen unless you are actually in the
specific cell that contains the data.
Example: "add to the text in a cell of the spreadsheet and part of the
information is missing.â€
In this instance the text displayed is stopping with the "and" and nothing I
do will make it display let alone wrap, it just stops wrapping and runs off
the edge of the spreadsheet cell.
I have never seen this before and I have worked with spreadsheets for many
