Hi everyone:

I run on mac and use Excel 2004, but frequently share documents with my boss, who uses Vista/Office 2007.

When he opens an excel spreadsheet from me, his scroll bars on the side are missing. Also, sometimes the tabs on the bottom and the top column headers are missing as well. We've tried every toolbar/display etc. option we can try, and nothing consistently or permanently solves this issue. We've also tried me running windows on my mac and him saving the attachment on his own computer before opening, and these don't work either.

Has anyone else experienced this? Please help if you have suggestions we should try. Thanks so much!

This may be a window size/display resolution issue. Did you try double
clicking on the window title bar? This should resize the window to the
display. Hw about selecting the workbook and using the window menu and
selecting Arrange. Make sure windows of active document is checked. This
should also resize the window to the display.
